Lucien Jean Osun, a 62-year-old resident of Wyandanch, New York, was fatally struck by a Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) train on the evening of Thursday, April 17, 2025. The incident occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. near the Pinelawn Station, located in East Farmingdale, along the Ronkonkoma Branch of the LIRR. Authorities have confirmed that at the time of the crash, the railroad crossing gates were down, and the warning lights were flashing, indicating an active train crossing.
