LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville man was arrested early Tuesday morning on Interstate 64, after Kentucky State Police said a trooper found more than 4 pounds of methamphetamine in his car.
KSP said in a news release Friday that a trooper stopped a 2016 Chevrolet Impala around 4 a.m. March 25 in I-64 in Woodford County for following another car too closely.
During the stop, Andrew Billingslea, 33, gave a trooper permission to search his car. KSP said the trooper found three vacuum-sealed bags totaling more than 4 pounds of meth.
Billingslea was charged with following another vehicle too closely, excessive windshield/window tinting, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
He was taken to the Woodford County Detention Center.
