Colton Pulsipher Obituary, Death; – A police officer in Las Vegas has tragically lost his life following a wrong-way collision while returning home.
As reported by the Nevada State Police, the incident took place shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, when a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction on Interstate 15 near the Valley of Fire struck several cars heading north on the highway.
Two men were pronounced dead at the scene, while a woman was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has identified one of the deceased as off-duty Officer Colton Pulsipher. Authorities confirmed that he was operating his personal vehicle while commuting home after his shift.
Officer Pulsipher joined the department in 2017 and is survived by his wife and three children. A section of the highway was closed for several hours to facilitate the investigation near mile marker 75. The identity of the other individual who lost their life in the crash has not yet been disclosed, as the investigation is still ongoing.
