Tyler McGinty Obituary, Death; – An 18-year-old has been apprehended in relation to the deadly shooting of a man last month, who was allegedly attempting to sell his PlayStation 5.
On November 24, officers from the Houston Police Department responded to a report concerning the incident at a hotel room. They were informed that the victim, identified as 37-year-old Tyler McGinty, had sustained “a gunshot wound,” as stated in a press release from the HPD.
McGinty was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead four days later, according to police reports. Tammy Smith, McGinty’s mother, informed WLS-TV that her son had listed the gaming console for $350 and was at the hotel to finalize the transaction.
The suspect has been charged with murder.
Authorities have identified the suspect as Zavion Joshua Pabon, who is facing charges of capital murder and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, as per HPD. Jail records indicate that he was booked last Thursday. “Normal people don’t do this. This isn’t a normal person. This is a very, very bad individual,” Smith expressed to the news station.
