Dreanna D Booker Obituary, Death; – A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a woman who had been fatally stabbed early Saturday in the northwest suburbs.
According to police, the victim was located around 1 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Bluff City Boulevard in Elgin. Officers responding to the scene found a deceased woman with numerous stab wounds. She has been identified as 33-year-old Dreanna D. Booker.
Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie L. Mosser reported that Booker was repeatedly stabbed with a knife by a male suspect, identified as 36-year-old Pierre J. French of Elgin. Authorities stated that he was apprehended shortly after the incident.
French is currently facing two counts of first-degree murder, as indicated by prosecutors. Notably, his residence is the same location where the woman’s body was discovered, according to officials. The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on December 18 in Kane County. Additional information is not available at this time.
