Dover, DE- Delaware State Police have apprehended Carlton Harris, 34, of Dover, in connection with a robbery in Dover earlier this week.
On Sunday at approximately 7:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to Dollar General on South Dupont Highway in Camden after a robbery report. Investigations revealed that the incident took place near Howell Street and Carter Avenue, where two individuals were using a blue and white Suzuki dirt bike. They were confronted by two unknown male suspects, who assaulted them and took the dirt bike. The victims, who sustained minor injuries, fled to Dollar General to notify authorities.
Harris was taken into custody on Tuesday following the investigation. He is facing charges including first-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, and third-degree assault. After his arraignment at Justice of the Peace Court 2, he was released on an $8,000 unsecured bond.
