QUEENS, N.Y. — A 15-year-old boy was assaulted aboard a northbound 7 train in Queens on Friday afternoon, according to police.
The incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on Sept. 27 as the train was approaching the Junction Boulevard station. An unidentified individual approached the teenager and punched him multiple times in the face, injuring his right eyebrow. The assailant then exited the train at the Junction Boulevard station and fled in an unknown direction.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police are continuing to investigate and have not yet made any arrests.
