DUQUESNE, Pa. – Allegheny County police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Friday morning in Duquesne, which left one woman dead and a man injured.
Officers responded to a call at 2:42 a.m. in the 1000 block of Orchard Park Avenue, where they discovered an adult female deceased inside a residence. A second victim, an adult male, was found injured and transported to a local hospital, where he remains in stable condition, according to police.
Initial reports suggest that an unidentified individual entered the home and shot the victims. Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit have begun an investigation.
