MACON COUNTY, N.C. — Sheriff Robert Holland joined his son’s local baseball team today at CareNet to assist in packaging food backpacks for families in need. The initiative is part of CareNet’s ongoing efforts to provide essential food supplies to local families facing food insecurity.
In a statement, Sheriff Holland praised the team’s community service efforts. “I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our young baseball team for their outstanding commitment to community service by helping CareNet package food for families in need.
