STAFFORD, VA- The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office released the daily incident report for Wednesday, detailing several incidents that occurred across the area.
At Brooke Point High School, located at 1700 Courthouse Road, a School Resource Officer was patrolling the cafeteria on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. when he was struck in the back of the head by a juvenile. Although the deputy was not injured, a criminal complaint for assault and battery on law enforcement was filed. The juvenile was detained at the Juvenile Detention Center following advice from Juvenile Intake.
At Winding Creek Elementary School, at 475 Winding Creek Road, Lieutenant C.M. Neuhard was on patrol Tuesday morning at 8:20 a.m. when he was informed about a larceny. The staff reported the theft of a dog lawn ornament. Based on camera footage, the larceny occurred on Friday around 5:47 a.m.
Later in the evening at 6:59 p.m., Deputy S.A. Fulford responded to another larceny call on Ashcroft Drive, where the victim reported her Amazon packages were missing,.
