BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police are investigating a potential child luring incident that occurred on September 26 in the Miller Heights/Prospect Heights area of Bethlehem Township.
Authorities say the incident took place near the intersection of 2nd and Washington Streets. A witness reported seeing a man in a blue Ford Explorer SUV approach them while wearing a ski mask. The suspect did not exit the vehicle or interact with the witnesses before quickly driving away when another vehicle approached.
The Bethlehem Township Police Department is working to identify the vehicle’s owner using PennDOT registration information. The vehicle reportedly had a temporary license plate that may not yet be active in the state system.
