Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office has charged Deonte Vincent (DOB: 07/02/1999) with multiple offenses following his involvement in a dangerous vehicle meetup in Northeast Philadelphia on the evening of Saturday, September 21. The incident coincided with several ‘drifting’ events across the city during the weekend.
Philadelphia Police Department (PPD) officers responded to a tip about an illegal vehicle meetup in a Pep Boys parking lot near the 7400 block of Bustleton Avenue. As police units arrived, suspects fled in multiple directions. Several were stopped and detained by responding officers. Vincent, driving a blue Dodge Charger, ignored commands to stop, sped towards officers, and collided with a vehicle that had halted as per law enforcement instructions. The collision resulted in injuries to a witness in the stopped vehicle.
Police recorded Vincent’s license plate before he escaped, linking him to the Dodge Charger.
