BRONX, N.Y. — Authorities are searching for an unidentified suspect involved in a shooting that injured a 20-year-old man in the Mott Haven neighborhood on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:46 p.m. in front of 133 Alexander Avenue. According to police, the suspect discharged a firearm multiple times, striking the victim in the left leg. The shooter then fled southbound on foot toward East 132nd Street.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a male with a slim build, long hair, and a dark complexion, standing around 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
