Stafford, VA – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office has released details of five separate incidents that occurred on Tuesday.
Deputy K.P. Hall responded to an assault case on Forbes Street at 7:55 p.m. Two juvenile females, who had ongoing issues with each other, engaged in an arranged fight. Both juveniles now face a criminal complaint for assault and battery.
Deputy M.N. Sayegh was investigating a domestic-related incident at Holiday Inn, 20 Sanford Drive, at 8:57 p.m., when she noticed a male driver in the parking lot displaying signs of intoxication. Deputy C.D. Quebedeaux assisted and found multiple open cans of beer inside the vehicle. The driver was charged with driving under the influence and drinking while driving and was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,000 secured bond.
Earlier at 5:56 p.m., Deputy S.C. Steinway responded to a larceny report at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 290 Deacon Road. A male suspect attempted to purchase items using a stolen company check. When staff discovered the theft, they refused to complete the transaction.
