CUMBERLAND, MD – A coordinated warrant sweep conducted in Allegany County on Monday led to multiple arrests and the serving of several warrants across the region. Agencies involved included the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, Cumberland City Police Department, Maryland State Police, Maryland Warrant Apprehension Unit, and the Allegany County Detention Center.
The sweep resulted in 27 warrants served, two criminal summons, and four arrests for controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Jeremiah Daniel Martin, 40, of Cumberland, was arrested on two District Court Bench Warrants for violation of probation following convictions for second-degree assault and CDS possession.
Timothy Bobby Miller Jr., 36, of Cumberland, was served three Circuit Court Warrants on various charges, including CDS possession with intent to distribute, handgun violations, and probation violations. Daniel Erwin Smith II, 34, of Cumberland, was indicted for CDS possession and distribution-related charges.
Other arrests included Michael Shawn Fear and Sincere Jayvon Unique Issac, both of Cumberland, who were held without bond pending bail review for multiple charges, including electronic communication harassment and various CDS offenses.
