The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying individuals and a vehicle connected to a series of robberies across several precincts. The incidents occurred in the 44th, 62nd, 106th, 109th, 111th, and 112th precincts. The robberies involved armed individuals demanding high-value items, with multiple victims targeted throughout the city.
The first incident was reported on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, around 9:50 p.m., near 172 Street and Northern Boulevard. A 32-year-old male victim was approached by two individuals who displayed a firearm and stole a necklace valued at approximately $70,000. The suspects fled in a white Mercedes-Benz sedan.
In another case on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at approximately 4:24 a.m., two individuals attempted to enter a residence near 150 Street and Third Avenue. Although no property was taken, the suspects threw a rock through a window and fled in the same white Mercedes-Benz. No injuries were reported.
On Thursday, September 12, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a 25-year-old man near East 167 Street and Walton Avenue was robbed at gunpoint of a watch worth $90,000 and $200 in cash. The suspects once again fled in a white Mercedes-Benz.
Further reports include incidents on September 13 and September 15, 2024, where similar tactics were used. A 54-year-old victim in the 106th Precinct was targeted in his residence, while a 33-year-old man was robbed in front of 1932 McDonald Avenue. Both incidents involved a firearm, and the suspects escaped using the same vehicle.
On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, and Sunday, September 22, 2024, two victims in the 111th Precinct were approached by armed suspects. One of the victims, a 63-year-old man, was assaulted before having his wallet stolen. In both cases, the suspects left in the white Mercedes-Benz.
The most recent robbery occurred on Monday, September 23, 2024, around 1:13 a.m. near 95 Street and 62 Drive. Two men attempted to rob a 36-year-old man but failed to steal any items before fleeing in the white sedan.
Police describe the suspects as males and the vehicle involved as a white Mercedes-Benz sedan with tinted windows and a sunroof.
