BAY RIDGE, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to a sexual abuse incident that took place at a subway station in Bay Ridge. Authorities say the incident occurred on Friday, Sept. 13, at approximately 5:27 p.m.
According to police reports, a 27-year-old woman was entering the Bay Ridge 95 Street subway station when an unknown man approached her. The suspect reportedly placed his arms around the woman and his face in her private area without consent before fleeing the scene on foot.
The victim was not physically harmed during the encounter, police confirmed. The suspect’s whereabouts remain unknown as authorities continue their investigation.
The individual is described as a male in his 30s with a medium build and dark complexion. He has brown and blonde dreadlocks and stands about 6 feet tall. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black T-shirt, multi-colored shorts, and gray boots.
