Atlantic City, NJ- The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office hosted an event titled “Breaking Bias: Bridging Divides in Criminal Justice” at Stockton University’s Atlantic City Campus on Friday. The event addressed efforts to tackle bias and discrimination in various sectors, highlighting partnerships, trainings, and initiatives.
Nearly 100 invitees, including law enforcement, social service employees, faith leaders, educational administrators, and community members, participated. The agenda included a series of speakers and four panel discussions focused on the Atlantic County Safe Place law enforcement initiative, interfaith relations, services for immigrant populations, and the special needs community.
The event began with remarks from Atlantic County Prosecutor William Reynolds and featured addresses by other key figures. Panels covered topics such as collaborative law enforcement strategies, interfaith relationships, and tailored services for immigrants and special needs groups.
