WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department are asking for assistance in tracking down a suspect connected to a shooting in Southeast D.C.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at a gas station in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast. According to police, the victim, a man, arrived at a hospital later that evening, around 7:43 p.m., reporting that he had been shot at approximately 4:47 p.m.
Authorities are treating the incident as an Assault with Intent to Kill. The victim, who has not been identified, is listed in stable condition as he continues to receive medical treatment.
