WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA – Westmoreland County Detectives and Washington Township Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a child abuse investigation involving multiple juvenile victims. Jordan Heidt and Heather Johnson were taken into custody on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, and charged with endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.
According to authorities, the investigation began after police received reports of a child abuse incident at a residence on Echo Ridge Road in Washington Township. Investigators allege that the incidents involved multiple juveniles and took place on the property.
One of the victims reported to police that she visited the residence because she was in a relationship with one of the other juvenile victims living there. The victim told investigators that Heidt allegedly forced her to engage in sexual activity with the juvenile in an abandoned trailer on the property.
The case remains under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time. Both Heidt and Johnson are expected to face court proceedings in the coming weeks.
