QUEENS, N.Y. — A 26-year-old woman was fatally stabbed Tuesday evening in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens, according to police.
Officers from the 109th Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting an assault near the intersection of Kissena Boulevard and Barclay Avenue at approximately 5:41 p.m. Upon arriving, they found the victim, later identified as Jui Mei Tang, with multiple stab wounds to her body and neck.
Emergency medical services transported Tang to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
One individual was taken into custody at the scene. Authorities have not released additional details about the suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
