BOSTON — A suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 45-year-old man earlier this month in Jamaica Plain, according to the Boston Police Department. Jordan Albert-Scott, 33, of Mattapan, was taken into custody on Friday afternoon by members of the department’s Fugitive Unit.
Albert-Scott was apprehended around 2:20 p.m. near 182 Dudley Street. He was wanted on a murder warrant issued by Roxbury District Court for the killing of Daniel Coke, 45, of Jamaica Plain. Authorities have confirmed that Albert-Scott will face arraignment in Roxbury District Court.
The incident that led to the murder charge occurred on Sunday, August 4, 2024. At approximately 4:42 a.m., officers from District E-13 responded to a report of a stabbing at 10 Amory Terrace. Upon arrival, police found Coke suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case.
