WASHINGTON, D.C. — A homicide investigation is underway after police discovered an unconscious man in Northeast Washington on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred on August 28 at approximately 3:15 p.m. in the 3200 block of 9th Street, Northeast. Officers arriving at the scene found an adult male who was pronounced dead on-site. The body was then transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy revealed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound. The death has been officially ruled a homicide.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Ronald Williams of Northeast, D.C.
