WASHINGTON, D.C. — A quick arrest was made early Wednesday morning in connection with a robbery that occurred in Northwest Washington.
The incident took place on August 28, at approximately 12:30 a.m., in the 1100 block of T Street, Northwest. According to the police report, the victim was assaulted by two individuals who forcibly took her belongings before fleeing the scene. The victim did not sustain any injuries.
Shortly after the robbery, officers apprehended one of the suspects nearby. Following an investigation, 33-year-old Rynell Epps of Northwest, D.C., was charged with Robbery (Force and Violence).
The case remains under investigation, with police urging anyone with information to contact the department.
