Bronx, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is searching for a suspect involved in a knife attack that left three men injured in the Bronx earlier this month. The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, August 16, 2024, at the intersection of Sacket Avenue and Williamsbridge Road.
According to police, the assault followed a dispute between the suspect and the three victims. During the altercation, the suspect attacked the men with a knife, leaving one 27-year-old man stabbed in the abdomen, a 24-year-old man slashed in the abdomen, and another 27-year-old man slashed in the right arm. All three victims were transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where they were treated and listed in stable condition.
The suspect, described as a male with a light complexion and heavy build, fled the scene eastbound on Williamsbridge Road. He was last seen wearing a black vest with orange patches, black pants, and black sneakers.
The NYPD is asking anyone with information about the incident or the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward.
“This investigation is ongoing, and we are actively seeking any leads that may assist in apprehending the individual involved,” the New York City Police Department said in a statement.
