D.C. — A deadly shooting in Northwest D.C. on Friday evening has left a 25-year-old man dead, prompting an active investigation.
The incident occurred around 6:57 p.m. on August 23, in the 1300 block of Girard Street, Northwest. Responding officers discovered an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim, identified as Martinez Robinson of Waldorf, Maryland, was rushed to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
