SMYRNA, Del. — The Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for 12-year-old Yaseen Clark, who was last seen on Friday near the 200 block of Holly Hills Drive in Smyrna. Authorities are concerned for the child’s safety after unsuccessful attempts to contact or locate him and his grandfather, Timothy Lawlor.
Yaseen Clark is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt, and a black knit cap.
Timothy Lawlor, Yaseen’s grandfather, is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 158 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. The two were last known to be in Smyrna, and their possible destination may be Pinton, Tennessee.
The Delaware State Police have urged anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward immediately. “We are actively seeking any leads that could help bring Yaseen and Timothy home safely,” the Delaware State Police said in a statement.
The Gold Alert remains active as authorities continue their search.
