BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — A 29-year-old woman has been charged with first-degree murder following a fatal stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning in Baltimore County. The incident took place in the 5600 block of Wilkens Avenue in the Catonsville area.
Baltimore County Police officers responded to a report of a stabbing at approximately 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, August 25. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 31-year-old woman with severe injuries. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives quickly identified the suspect as Brianna Jarrells, 29, who was known to the victim. The police have classified the incident as isolated, involving individuals who were acquainted with each other.
Jarrells was charged with first-degree murder and is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the homicide is ongoing, and authorities have not released further details at this time.
