BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in the assault of a 74-year-old man, who later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
The assault, which authorities have not yet detailed in full, has now turned into a homicide investigation following the victim’s death. Police have released photos of the suspect, hoping that someone in the community will recognize the individual and provide information that could lead to an arrest.
“Investigators are diligently working to identify the person responsible for this tragic event,” the Baltimore Police Department said in a statement. “We are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in this investigation.”
