GLEN BURNIE, Md., Aug. 16, 2024 — Two individuals were arrested on August 15, 2024, after officers in Glen Burnie recovered a stolen vehicle and discovered illegal drugs inside. The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. when officers located a stolen Hyundai Kona parked in the 7400 block of Ritchie Highway.
Upon approaching the vehicle, officers found 35-year-old Michael Christopher Hall Jr. of Glen Burnie, Md., in the driver’s seat. Inside the vehicle, officers observed suspected controlled dangerous substances (CDS) in plain view. A female suspect, identified as 37-year-old Kimberly Ann Simons, also of Glen Burnie, was linked to the vehicle and taken into custody.
During the investigation, officers seized approximately 6.95 grams of suspected heroin, 2.13 grams of suspected cocaine, and $842.00 in U.S. currency. Both Hall and Simons were arrested and charged with multiple offenses related to the stolen vehicle and drug possession.
The arrests are part of the ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat vehicle theft and drug-related crimes in the area.
