NORTH HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP, PA – A local woman, Kimberly Strashensky, 53, faces charges of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors.
The charges stem from a North Huntingdon Township Police investigation into a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred in late March on Ridge Road.
The investigation revealed that Strashensky frequently allowed minors to consume alcohol at her residence. This came to light following the tragic deaths of two teenagers, who had left a party at her home to pick up another teen before crashing their motorcycle over an embankment. Strashensky was arraigned this Friday and released on her own recognizance.
Detectives conducted interviews with several juveniles who attended these parties, confirming that alcohol was routinely provided, with Strashensky herself purchasing alcoholic beverages like Twisted Tea for the minors on at least one occasion.
A cell phone video from one of the parties shows Strashensky advising partygoers not to vomit in her bathroom, further highlighting the reckless environment she maintained.
