NEW YORK, NY—A 17-year-old male was assaulted by three unidentified assailants early Sunday morning in front of 111 West End Avenue. The incident occurred at 12:10 AM when a verbal dispute escalated. The victim was slashed on the left cheek with a sharp instrument by one of the individuals, resulting in lacerations to his cheek and right arm. The other two perpetrators punched him in the face and body before fleeing northbound on West End Avenue.
The victim was subsequently transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was treated for minor injuries and listed in stable condition. Authorities are currently searching for the three suspects involved in the attack. The first suspect is described as a male with a medium build and complexion, last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap with a red “B,” a black t-shirt with a “TOMMY” graphic, black shorts, and gold sneakers.
The second suspect, described as having a slim build and light complexion, was last seen in a white t-shirt, black shorts, a mix of white and black sneakers, and carrying a book bag. The third suspect, also slim with a medium complexion, was wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers.
Police urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward to aid in the apprehension of the suspects.
