TOWSON, MD – Baltimore County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is currently investigating a shooting that took place early Monday morning, August 7, 2024.
Officers were dispatched to the vicinity of Taylor Avenue and Oakleigh Road, zip code 21234, around 1:45 a.m. following reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers initially found no victims at the scene. However, shortly thereafter, they were called to a local hospital where two adult male victims had independently sought medical attention for gunshot wounds. Detectives have traced the location of the shooting to the 1700 block of Taylor Avenue.
