QUEENS, NY — A violent altercation on Monday, August 5, at 119-11 Jamaica Avenue escalated to a shooting at approximately 10:40 PM, leaving a 34-year-old man critically wounded. The incident involved two unidentified males who, after a dispute, one of them discharged a firearm multiple times, striking the victim.
Emergency services rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he is currently listed in critical but stable condition. Following the shooting, both suspects fled the scene on foot.
Authorities are actively searching for the two suspects. The first is described as a male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a tan baseball cap, eyeglasses, a dark-colored t-shirt with a white design, a black fanny pack, dark-colored pants, and black sneakers. The second suspect, also with a dark complexion, was wearing a black baseball cap, eyeglasses, a blue t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers.
