PAWLING, NY – A significant drug bust has been made by the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force in the town of Pawling.
William Frenza, 59, was arrested near Pawling Middle School and Pawling High School for selling dangerous drugs, including methamphetamine and fentanyl.
The investigation, which targeted the sale of methamphetamine, known as “Crystal Meth,” and fentanyl, culminated in multiple purchases of drugs by agents from Frenza at his residence on Reservoir Road.
On Thursday, the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant at this location, seizing methamphetamine, scales, and other drug paraphernalia.
Today, Frenza was apprehended by Drug Task Force Agents as he was leaving his residence. He was found in possession of fentanyl and taken into custody without incident. District Attorney Anthony Parisi emphasized the severity of selling drugs near schools, noting the significant risks they pose to the health and future of young people.
