WASHINGTON, D.C. — Authorities are requesting the community’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a shooting incident in Northeast Washington on Friday evening.
At approximately 7:14 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 600 block of Division Avenue, Northeast. According to the victim, a verbal argument with the suspect escalated when a witness intervened, prompting the suspect to open fire. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

The D.C. Metro Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or text the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
