TRENTON, NJ – More wet weather is in store today across New Jersey as passing storms and showers are expected throughout the afternoon and eveing.
The weather will be mostly cloudy with a high near 86 degrees. Starting around 3 PM, there is a likelihood of showers and possibly thunderstorms, with a 60% chance of precipitation.
Winds will come from the southwest at about 10 mph. Rainfall is expected to range between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, though higher amounts may occur during thunderstorms.
Tonight, thunderstorms are likely before 8 PM, followed by the development of patchy fog after 11 PM. The sky will clear up gradually, moving from mostly cloudy to mostly clear, with a nighttime low around 71 degrees.
Winds will shift to the south at around 5 mph before becoming calm later in the evening. The chance of precipitation remains at 60%, with new rainfall amounts likely to be less than a tenth of an inch, though again, higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.
