ENGLEWOOD, NJ — A violent altercation occurred in Englewood when Kaleema Dicks, a 36-year-old woman from Hackensack, forcefully entered a local residence and assaulted the homeowner.
The incident, detailed by Englewood Police Detective Lt. Fred Pulice, took place around 3:35 p.m. on Friday.
According to Lt. Pulice, Dicks confronted the victim outside her home before pushing her way inside. Once inside, she began assaulting the victim, punching her in the face and body, and ultimately stabbing her in the back with a knife.
The attack resulted in the victim sustaining a broken orbital bone and a 4-inch laceration on her back. The victim was promptly taken to Hackensack Medical Center for treatment.
Dicks was arrested later that evening, around 7:10 p.m., by the Hackensack Police. She has been charged with second-degree aggravated assault, second-degree burglary, and third-degree charges related to the possession and unlawful possession of a weapon.
