ELDERSBURG, MD – A $540,000 Multi-Match jackpot ticket was sold at Sunoco, 1400 Liberty Road, in Eldersburg, Carroll County. The winning ticket matched all six numbers in the August 1 drawing: 15, 22, 25, 26, 34, and 35. The winner can opt for the annuity, paid in 25 equal installments, or an estimated $290,000 cash option before taxes.
This marks the seventh Multi-Match jackpot winner of the year. The Carroll County Sunoco will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Previous 2024 winners were located at:
- Klein’s Shop Rite in Belcamp ($2.1 million) on March 25
- St. Paul Mini Mart in Baltimore ($660,000) on April 29
- Wawa in Adelphi ($580,000) on May 30
- Royal Farms in Glen Burnie ($500,000) on June 3
- Four Corners Exxon in Mt. Airy ($540,000) on June 20
- Sheetz in Cumberland ($560,000) on July 15
Notable past Multi-Match jackpots include $4.8 million on September 19, 2009, and $4.45 million on March 18, 2010.
Lottery officials urge winners to sign the back of their tickets and store them safely. Prizes must be claimed within 182 days of the drawing date. Prizes over $25,000 must be redeemed by mail or in person at the Lottery headquarters, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.
