JACKSON, NJ – The Jackson Police Department celebrated community engagement at the grand re-opening of the Dunkin’ Donuts on Manhattan Street Plaza.
It is an industry near and dear to police officers nationwide.
Key community figures, including Mayor Michael Reina and Council President Jennifer Kuhn attended the event.
Officers took a hands-on approach during the event, serving customers and working alongside Dunkin’ staff at the counter and drive-thru. This initiative was part of a broader effort to strengthen community relations and interaction between the police force and Jackson residents.
The store’s management team, including owner Sudhir Hegde, District Manager Ram Haq, Multi Unit Leader Natale Valenza, and Store Manager Jessica Oreibi, hosted the officers and community leaders, creating a lively and interactive atmosphere. The police department expressed their gratitude for being included in this significant occasion, noting that the officers had a “blast” and humorously hinted that they might have indulged in some of the store’s famed donuts.
Such community-oriented events are essential in fostering a positive relationship between law enforcement and community members, highlighting the mutual benefits of such engagements.
