QUEENS, NY – The New York City Police Department has requested public assistance to identify a suspect involved in two separate robbery incidents within the 110th Precinct. Authorities have released a description of the suspect alongside an appeal for information.
The first incident occurred on Monday, July 8, at 9:06 PM. A 56-year-old woman was robbed while waiting for a bus in front of 90-15 Queens Boulevard. An assailant forcefully took her MacBook Air, causing pain to her arm. The suspect then fled northbound on Queens Boulevard.
Two days later, on July 10, at 5:50 PM, a similar incident took place near the intersection of 56 Avenue and 90 Street. A 57-year-old woman was about to enter her vehicle when the suspect opened the passenger side door and stole two MacBook Pros. He escaped by running eastbound on 56 Avenue. No injuries were reported in this second incident.
The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 6 feet tall, sporting an afro hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a black zippered hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black and white sneakers. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
