PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — It’s official: the Philadelphia Eagles are visiting the White House after their Super Bowl victory.
On Monday, an Eagles spokesperson confirmed the team will visit Washington and the organization is “currently working on scheduling a date and logistics.” Previous inaccurate reports stated the team would not accept a White House invitation.
In 2018, the Eagles were disinvited by the Trump administration after most players did not plan to attend, with the White House accusing the team of pulling a “political stunt.”
