BRONX, NY – A 39-year-old man was found fatally shot on Monday evening in the Bronx, prompting a police investigation.
Responding to a 911 call around 7:52 PM, police discovered Roman Martinez unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds to the head at the intersection of East 176 Street and Mohegan Avenue.
Emergency Medical Services pronounced Martinez, a resident of 856 East 175 Street, deceased at the scene. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
