CANTON, OH—The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is currently seeking the public’s assistance to apprehend three individuals, Jermaine Taylor, Cassandra Cheek, and Tyson Dean, wanted for kidnapping and felonious assault charges. These charges stem from an incident reported by the Canton Police Department and the United States Marshals Service.
According to authorities, from Wednesday, July 10, to Friday, July 12, the trio allegedly confined victims in a basement on the 1500 block of Clark Avenue SW in Canton. During this period, they are accused of causing severe physical injuries to the victims using a baseball bat and a firearm.
Descriptions provided by law enforcement detail Jermaine Taylor as a 33-year-old Black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 174 pounds. Cassandra Cheek is described as a 34-year-old White female, standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds. Tyson Dean, a 37-year-old White male, is approximately the same height as Taylor but weighs about 150 pounds. All three individuals are known to frequent the Cleveland and Akron areas.
