Arkeshia Martin Obituary, Death;- The family has identified the victim of a tragic crash in Mobile on Sunday, as reported by a GoFundMe campaign established to help cover funeral and legal costs.
Victoria Martin shared that her daughter, Arkeshia Martin, lost her life due to the actions of a “drunk driver,” leaving their family in profound sorrow. “On March 1st, 2025, my beloved daughter, Arkeshia Martin, was taken from us far too soon by a drunk driver,” Victoria stated on the GoFundMe page. “At 44 years old, she was vibrant, loving, and full of aspirations that have now been abruptly cut short.”
“No parent should ever endure the pain of burying their child, particularly in such devastating circumstances. As we cope with this overwhelming grief, we are also confronted with unforeseen expenses, including funeral arrangements and legal issues.”
The Mobile Police Department reported that Martin was driving on Airport Boulevard near Florida Street when a pickup truck collided with her vehicle. The truck’s driver, identified as 23-year-old Shana Magbee, allegedly ran a red light.
