(WBRE/WYOU) — It’s that time of year when the 28/22 News team heads to area classrooms as part of Read Across America Week.
Anchor Tom Williams stopped by Mrs. Greeley’s second-grade class at Dodsen Elementary at Mackin in Wilkes-Barre Tuesday morning.
He read one of his favorites, Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. The kids in the Wilkes-Barre Area School District were good listeners and had lots of questions about TV news.

Logan also participated in Read Across America Week.
He stopped into Mrs. Thomas’s fourth grade class at Dan Flood Elementary in Wilkes-Barre and read Wow! Weather! and Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day.
Our very own Sydney Kostud read Hunches in Bunches to Mrs. Huber’s first-grade class at Kennedy Early Childhood Center in Nanticoke.
The kiddos were excellent listeners and learned a little bit about Sydney’s job as a reporter.

Finally, Rachel went to Ross Elementary in Sweet Valley and read The Day the Crayons Came Home to students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
A projector showed the large group the storybook’s illustrations as Rachel read.
