According to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office, Weaver was riding his 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Edgefield Road when he struck a utility line that had fallen across the roadway. The impact caused him to be thrown from his motorcycle. Emergency responders pronounced Weaver dead at the scene at 11:10 p.m.
