Jaylon Rivers Obituary, Death; – The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 19-year-old individual was fatally shot and a minor sustained injuries during an incident on Tom Hopkins Road. The shooting took place on Sunday, May 11, at 1:51 AM, when deputies found Jaylon Rivers, aged 19, along with a juvenile who had both been shot.
Authorities revealed that an argument had ensued between Rivers and the juvenile, during which Rivers allegedly discharged multiple rounds at the juvenile. In response, the juvenile returned fire, hitting Rivers, as stated by the deputies. Family members transported Rivers to a different residence, where he was later pronounced dead. Meanwhile, the juvenile was taken to a hospital and is currently in critical condition, according to officials.
