The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a tragic incident in the Southeast District where a 12-year-old girl was fatally shot. The shooting occurred on the evening of July 19, around 8:01 PM, at a residence on the 500 block of North Kenwood Avenue.
Responding officers arrived at the scene to find the young victim suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Immediate efforts to save her life were made as officers and medics administered CPR, but sadly, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
