ODENTON, MD—Quick thinking by a local business owner played a crucial role in the apprehension of three individuals following a commercial burglary. Western District Patrol Officers were dispatched to Fichner Home Services on Urban Street after the owner reported seeing several individuals pilfering items via security cameras.
Upon arrival, officers noticed a blue Honda Civic departing the parking lot of the business. They stopped the vehicle and discovered over 100 pounds of copper material stolen from the establishment. The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested and charged with the crime.
The suspects identified in the incident are Terri Lynn Kelley, a 42-year-old female from Odenton, who was driving the vehicle; Bryan Patrick Smith, a 40-year-old male, also from Odenton; and Edward Thomas Johnston Jr, a 53-year-old resident of Odenton. Their swift arrest underscores the effectiveness of prompt reporting and surveillance technology in combating commercial theft.
